Gizmomate

In 2023, I created brand identity for Gizmomate, a tech repair company. They wanted a mascot logo, and decided to move forward with a retro style. This cute Rubberhouse character, accompanied by characteristic typefaces, captured the warmth and approachability that the company wanted to radiate towards customers.

MOODBOARD & CONCEPT // PROCESS

I created two moodboards with two major art styles: VINTAGE & MODERN. After discussion, I moved forward with the VINTAGE design
as the characters in this style feel incredibly welcoming but also sort of "familiar".

THE MASCOT // PROCESS

I started my sketching process digitally, on the iPad. I tried couple different face iterations with varying degrees of "human-like" faces. Ultimately, the most cartoony face felt best for the final product and the brand.
